چکیده مقاله:

This study aims to investigate the changes in natural vegetation and its relationship with climatic drought.Natural vegetation plays a vital role in maintaining ecosystem stability, supporting biodiversity, andproviding various ecosystem services. However, climate change and associated drought events cansignificantly impact the composition, structure, and distribution of natural vegetation. Climatic drought isa major threat to natural vegetation, particularly in regions with arid and se miarid climates. Our studyhighlights the need for effective adaptation strategies to mitigate the impacts of drought on naturalsystems, including the restoration of degraded areas, the promotion of drought tolerant plant species, andthe implementation o f sustainable land management practices. Overall, this study provides insights intothe complex and multifaceted impacts of climatic drought on natural vegetation in the Mediterraneanregion, and emphasizes the importance of taking a holistic and interdisc iplinary approach to address thiscritical issue. The findings of this research will provide valuable insights into the impacts of climaticdrought on natural vegetation. Understanding the relationship between drought and vegetation dynamicsis crucial for effective ecosystem management and conservation strategies in the face of climate change. The results can inform decision makers, land managers, and policymakers in developing appropriatemitigation and adaptation measures to safeguard natural ecosystems and ensure their resilience in thefuture.
