چکیده مقاله:

Amoxicillin, has been commonly used to treat common infectious diseases in humans such as otitis, pneumonia, and genital diseases. This kind of antimicrobial drug is also working in food animalproduction to avoid infections and boost the growth of animals. So, amoxicillin can be easily released to the environment, such as water body from human excretion, wastewater from foodanimal production, and hospital wastewater discharges due to lacking waste water treatment [۱, ۲]. Although the crucial role of this antibacterial drug, amoxicillin is considered a harmful substance to the ecosystem when it is introduced to the environment. Similar other antibiotic substances, the contamination of amoxicillin in the environment, even at a low level, gives rise to the growth ofantibiotic-resistant bacteria, which leads to potential risk to human life and livestock [۳, ۴]. In this work, a novel modified electrode was introduced for electrocatalytic determination of amoxicillin in the aqueous solution. For fabrication of this electrode the graphite powder was mixedwith synthesized nano zeolte with was dopped with ferosen and then obtained paste was insertedto a glass tube and electrical connection was done using copper wire. The voltammetry techniquewas used for electrocatalytic determination of amoxicillin using proposed electrode. The optimum condition was obtained at pH= ۷ and the LDR and DL for determination of amoxicillin in this work were ۰.۵-۵۰۰ μM. And ۰.۴ μM respectively.
